Margaret L. (Peg) Williams, Ph.D., associate professor, has been a member of the faculty in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University since 1997, where she has taught in the areas of organizational behavior, compensation management and research methods. She is also the faculty coordinator for assessment within the VCU School of Business. Prior to VCU, she was on the faculty at Purdue University in both the School of Science and the Krannert Graduate School of Management. Her major research interests include compensation systems and employee benefits, the work/family interface, employee attitudes, and organizational justice and leadership.

Williams has published more than 20 articles in books, proceedings and journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Group and Organization Management, Human Resources Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She currently serves on the editorial review boards for Business Horizons and Journal of Management and as an ad hoc reviewer for other management and psychology journals. Williams has served as track chair and on the Board of Governors for the Southern Management Association and is the incoming program chair-elect for this professional organization.

Williams received her Ph.D. and M.B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from Indiana University.
