The Graduate Programs and Courses committee is responsible for recommending and reviewing new and revised graduate courses and degree programs. The following forms should be used when creating new programs and courses within the Graduate School.
The Graduate School is now distributing curriculum approval request forms electronically to committee members via Blackboard. When submitting a request form, the Dean’s Office is only requiring the original signed paperwork and no copies.
For all new degree programs, as early in the process as possible, but certainly before the proposal is sent to Programs and Courses, a meeting must be arranged by the lead author of the proposal with the Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs and the Dean of the Graduate School.
