Every spring the GSA sponsors a research symposium to present graduate research work to the VCU and local Richmond community.
The event is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to present their original research and creative projects in a professional but relaxed environment. This is the only opportunity for many graduate students to showcase their work at VCU. Participation in this event has nearly doubled every year and attracts not only VCU students and faculty, but local media, legislators and respected members of the Richmond business community.
The 16th Annual Research Symposium will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in the Commonwealth Ballroom in the University Student Commons between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. This event is a forum for VCU graduate students from all disciplines and departments to present their work to faculty, staff, students and community members. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to get productive feedback from their peers.
Submission forms will be posted during the fall semester and emails will go out to students periodically during the upcoming academic year. Questions concerning this event should be directed to the symposium chair, Amber Wilk.
The agenda for the event will be posted closer to the date of the event.
